Mission Statement
The mission of OMSD is to develop the necessary academic, artistic, and social skills for students to become responsible, productive citizens committed to lifelong learning in an ever changing society. Students share in the mission and must be encouraged by all administrators, teachers, parents, and community members to take advantage of the full range of educational opportunities made available.

Our security doors are now in place. All visitors must check in at the office. To access our front door entrance, please buzz the office and state your business. Once the entrance is unlocked, please go to the office and sign in as a visitor.

Recommendations for Coordinated School Health

The committee chose to focus its recommendations on the following areas:

I. Engage Leaders to Take Ownership in Promoting Health and Wellness

II. Improve Student and Staff Access to Healthy Foods

III. Improve Student Access to Quality Physical Education and Quality Nutrition Education

IV. Enhance Awareness of Environmental Factors among Decision and Policy Makers
